Vivir Quintana

Vivir Quintana is one of the most significant and moving voices in contemporary Latin American music. A Mexican singer-songwriter, composer and activist, she has turned music into a tool for remembrance, resistance and social transformation, bringing together the traditions of folk, ranchera and regional Mexican music with a deeply contemporary perspective.

Born in Coahuila, she grew up surrounded by corridos and Mexican popular music, influenced by artists such as Lola Beltrán and Mercedes Sosa. Her social awareness, also shaped by her experience as a teacher, runs throughout her work, which gives a voice to stories and realities that have often been overlooked or rendered invisible.

Her international breakthrough came in 2020 with “Canción sin miedo” (“Song Without Fear”), which became one of the most important feminist anthems of our time and has been sung by millions of women around the world. Since then, Vivir Quintana has established herself as an essential artist, combining social commitment, poetic depth and a powerful musical identity.

In 2023, she released “Te mereces un amor” (“You Deserve Love”), her first studio album with Universal Music México. Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with artists such as Silvio Rodríguez, Mon Laferte, Aterciopelados and Caifanes. Forbes named her one of Mexico’s 100 most creative people, and she has also received distinctions such as Leading Ladies of Entertainment 2024, awarded by the Latin Recording Academy.

On stage, Vivir Quintana offers much more than a concert. Her voice, extraordinary in both strength and beauty, invites reflection, moves audiences deeply and forges a connection through honesty and emotion. Every performance is a celebration of music as an act of resistance, love and collective transformation.
